Took down the Booz Allen Case competition whose first place prize is a summer internship in consulting...
now.. do i really wanna do Strategy and Org for public sector consulting??? i think i have about 2 months to figure that out.

I was watching tv tonight, and saw yet another one of those negative campaigning ads between Brad Miller and Vernon Robinson.
I’m really just curious as to how any marketer in their right mind could put these advertisements on TV. Do these commercials even help convince voters to vote for the candidate?
I even went to Vernon Robinson’s web site http://www.vernonrobinson.com/
I still don’t even know what he stands for, by just glancing the front page. And this is the guy running for a congressional seat.
Then Brad Miller’s http://www.bradmiller.org/
He voted to improve border security…. Because North Carolina is bordering Mexico?
Am I missing anything? I don’t understand how this can be misconstrued for a political debate here.

went to Clemson this weekend for the NC State/Clemson matchup.
just a quick recap.
there is a reason matt loves clemson so much. My god... if i had weekends there like that every time.. i would too!
I got hooked up with the first VIP luxury box of my life. watching a game there is immaculate. And then we got to play on the field after it was done.
i did have to deal with a Wolfpack loss though.. That was truly heartwrenching, but I guess it sure beats getting lynched by the rest of that luxury box which included 2 former and 1 current football player.
Met up with Matt's Dad. He's nuts... drank me under the table in about an hour, but i have no idea how the heck he got home. Too much scotch... and i hate scotch.
Course I did manage to do a personal will ferrell impression, "Scotch, scotch, scotch. I Love Scotch!"
and i didn't puke =P

ok.. so... here's the problem with the Wii. all the new features are just WAY too fun. I seriously spent about 1.5 hours dicking around with the new controller and a wooden sword chopping at a target dummy. Yeah.. no joke.. and then messing around as a wolf doing spins and jumps and the such.
and then another hour fishing....
yeah.. so i'm 3.5 hours into the new zelda... and i haven't even left the original village yet.... but omg is it fun =)
bowled a 214 last night too. (in the wii bowling game)
i hope rockstar adapts that ping pong game to teh wii

so... there's this presidential election thing coming up in 2 years or so. what we all seem to know right now is that the republicans will be out of office. really can you see them staying? even those who don't follow politics will see there's some sort of anticipated backlash coming.
so it's natural to look at who the dem's have up stream and more importantly who's ahead in the races now.
hilary clinton
barack obama
if this holds.... we will have history =). i can't wait. either the first black president or the first woman president. or better yet the first black president with woman VP.
