so i decided to stay in the area (and watch the dog), instead letting my mom go have 2 week vacation with her sisters.
but.. jeez... there is NO ONE LEFT IN TOWN!!! i'm going out of my mind.. and it's just my luck that State is on spring break too....
oh well.. at least i got to find out about Avatar: the last Airbender

well state survived to play another day. Next game is against Marist, who i know nothing about. (probably meaning we will lose).
as for the real madness... well.. it should be a great three weeks. Lets see how much my course work suffers for it. Thursday we're already planning pool and lotsa tvs and drinks =).
can not wait. and i hate my bracket.... ABSOLUTELY HATE IT...
but i have GU winning... yeah.. well... kenny should be happy.
I have no faith in any of the 1 seeds. OSU can't beat A&M, Kansas just sucks, Florida has no heart this year (but i wouldn't be surprised if they pulled it together for another 6 game run), and UNC probably won't make it past durant, but if they do, they won't be able to contain green and hibbert. so there.. Hoya Paranoia to win it all.

so... as most of you know. I've managed to score floor seats to the sweet 16 and elite games for the East Regional in New Jersey.
so.. i'll be ditching the first class of my MBA career tomorrow morning (oh boo.. accounting...) no real loss huh?
I'm excited about tomorrow. It's been years since i've last traveled to a sweet 16 game (paid $125 to watch my Wolfpack lose to UConn about 5 years ago).
And just for roy... i am actually happy regardless of who wins tomorrow nights game =). but i am bringing an Ellington Jersey to the game.

I've posted about this before. Spoke about it before.. and still feel the exact same after Game one of the East Regionals.
The Carolina fans at games are TERRIBLE!!!
we got out cheered by USC who had maybe half a section.
We'd go on a run, and stand up and cheer, only to have the alumni behind us to ask us to sit down.
These people don't chant D-Fense, or do anything more than just clap...
I sat behind the Dean of my Business School. During our 18-0 run, he was still glad handing alumni.
No.. there's no passion in Tarheel town. our students didn't travel (i'm sure they would if they could get some tickets....) but the alumni that dominate the seats kill the atmosphere at games. Vandy put us to shame. Georgetown was so much louder, and USC had amazing cheerleaders =P
ok.. anyway.. i'll upload some pictures and movies.

why do some students feel the need to hijack a class?
I really don't understand this. We're here to learn, not for you to tell us your opinion of every damn thing under the sun. But thanks to some people... I have extra reading and thinking sessions to make up for a 20-30 minute "discussion" on the subtleties of how walmart forces people account for every cost. Yes.. walmart is evil in some sense and they cut costs like crazy. Can you just call it Cross-docking and not tell me every single step?

i said that FOUR FREAKING TIMES in my presentation today. Granted it was a 10 minute presentation.. but it's bad enough that I was practically stuttering, but to string that all together... JEEZ. i had my crap DOWN!!!

there's this guy in the cafeteria right now, who's talking to this girl.. only it's high pitched, southern, and just downright laughable.
it sounds like a southern bozo the clown voice. only it's HIS voice.. and he's walking around with one of those draw handle luggage things to carry his books.
i guess i just had to comment so i wouldn't fall out of my seat from laughing so hard.
